With 212 new HIV Ab sero-positive individuals confirmed by the STD/AIDS Cooperative Central Laboratory (SACCL) in November 2011, the Philippines for the first time has breached the 2,000-mark in terms of its annual numbers. Only two years ago, in 2009, we were at a sub-1,000 mark.
