By Jean Natividad Ask anyone what the noblest profession is, and there's a good chance they'll say "educator." It should come as no surprise. Educators, after all, are assigned the Herculean task of shaping people's minds. While not all bearing the title are able to live up to the high standards of their calling, there are those who go above and beyond to fulfill their duties. In LoveYourself, educators exist, too. Counselors, for example, put hours into training, so they can educate their families, friends, and clients about HIV. What most people outside the organization may not be as familiar with, however, is Love U: The Corporate University of LoveYourself, which serves as the learning hub for all of the organization's stakeholders. Ruben, Aaron, Danvic, and Leo of Love U: The Corporate University of LoveYourself Through Love U, individuals inside and outside the organization can expand their knowledge about HIV and matters like SOGIE (sexual orientation, ...

By Kevin Tuazon Learning is a never-ending process. This is why LoveYourself’s Love University, the arm that pioneers the learning and development efforts of the organization, put together this year’s University Conference, a day for learning. The goal is to give valuable information and resources related to HIV prevention and care initiatives for new and seasoned volunteers alike to be more equipped in serving the community. As the adage goes: “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” Truly, that is what the University Conference is offering volunteers this coming October 22, 2016. The University Conference, which was organized by LoveYourself’s Love University, is a combination of the Counselors' Convention and the Volunteers' Convention, two events which were held separately in previous years. Fittingly, the University Conference will be held at a school in Mandaluyong city: The Highway Hills Integrated School. The University Conference’s goal is to inform and update LoveYourself volunteers with critical information related to HIV prevention and care initiatives as well as engage them  with fun activities to offer the organization's volunteers a more enjoyable experience. The brains of Love University stayed true to the “class theme” of the event by  adopting a registration system similar to that of a university’s enrolment system. There are three classes in each...
