LoveYourself Incognito 2.0, Fast and Confidential Screening, Set on November 27

Image
LoveYourself Incognito , the country's first community-based HIV screening for men that asks for no names, uses no forms, and is highly confidential, is once again set for a comeback as Incognito 2.0 on November 27, Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Victoria Court Malate . LoveYourself first held Incognito last May 29, and it turned out to be the the most trusted screening event of its kind by the HIV awareness advocacy organization, recording a total of 1,300 sign-ups and 300 clients screened. Incognito, with its strictly confidential and quick screening process , is part of LoveYourself's efforts to reach out to the key-affected population that still suffers from the stigma of getting themselves tested for HIV - because they do not want their identities exposed. The process is patterned after similar successful screenings in Thailand and the United States. Register here for your free and anonymous HIV screening. LoveYourself assures that even with a quicker screening proc...

Certified Platinum: A peek into the most premium testing service in the metro

Image
by Allen Yu    Since LoveYourself Platinum first launched in January 2013, it's been nothing but a runaway success. Known for its hyper-discreet, by-appointment testing process and premium service quality, Platinum — already offered twice a month — is routinely booked solid. For many of its clients, the discreetness makes it their ideal choice. “My past testing experiences were okay — straight to the point, very professional,” recalls Mike , who got tested with Platinum last October. "But given the stigma on HIV, I still prefer privacy and discreetness — and LoveYourself Platinum offered just that.” Other clients go even further: for them, discreetness is non-negotiable. “The stigma is a hindrance,” explains JR , a designer who tested with Platinum last April. “The privacy aspect was paramount.” Joey , a system administrator who also got tested with Platinum this October, appreciates that he didn’t need to worry about how to approach clinic or hospit...

Lichauco Designs Anglo: client confidentiality drives architecture

Image
Client confidentiality remains at the forefront of the architectural design for the soon-to-rise  LoveYourself Anglo on Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong. Renowned architect Dan Lichauco , together with his team at the Archion Achitects , has ensured that those who will undergo HIV screening at the new center will be accorded the privacy due them. As Lichauco puts it, paramount to the clients’ need for counseling and testing is the guarantee that the procedure shall remain confidential. Along with this, he also puts forth that LoveYourself Anglo will stay true in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who ventures into its confines. Those requisites for spatial design may be more challenging than usual but not for Lichauco, whose architectural works include major hospital projects like The Medical City , The Asian Hospital and Medical Center , and Ospital ng Makati . “Since we do a lot of healthcare projects, we felt that we could share our learning and experie...
