This Self-Expression Workshop for LoveYourself is looking for open and committed participants who will undergo a theater workshop facilitated by Topper Fabregas on all four Saturdays of October. This process will culminate in a special public show performed by the workshop participants -- "LoveYourself Cafe Confessions" to be held at the LoveYourself Hub on Nov 10. Loveyourself Cebu: Orientation Meeting Held for Love Yourself Cebu

Thirty-one individuals attended the first-ever orientation of Love Yourself for volunteers in Cebu. It was held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Auditorium of the Cebu City Health Department, Gen. Maxilom Ext., Cebu City. It was facilitated by Chris Lagman (Director, Education & Counseling), Vinn Pagtakhan (President & Founder), and Dr. Ilya Tac-an (Medical Doctor, Cebu City Social Hygiene Clinic). Jerson See, President of Cebu Plus Association Inc. (Love Yourself's partner organization), also came to grace the event. Their vlogs are characterized by humor and accessibility, and touch on a range of topics. Serious issues are treated lightly but authoritatively. Both have had previous relationships, and think that getting tested for HIV is a milestone for them as a couple. DOH Launches New HIV Program in Partnership with Love Yourself

"We need to act big, act fast, act now," said Dr. Rosanna Ditangco, head of the AIDS Research Group, Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM). Dr. Ditangco, together with Dr. Gerard Belimac, head of the Department of Health's National AIDS/STI Prevention and Control Program, launched on September 6, 2012 at the City State Tower Hotel in Manila a new HIV program called "Project 3S: Smart, Safe, and Sexy." In attendance were key health personnel of various local government units from around the country. The project upholds two unique thrusts: (1) A partnership with advocacy-driven MSM advocates and (2) the Continuum of Care Approach. The program believes that advocacy-driven volunteers from the men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM) community can have valuable contribution in reaching the ambit of the most at-risk population.  This new breed of MSM volunteers consists of young urban professionals and will be the  “Change Agents” who would be  effective channels on

A message from Kathleen Fox of WHO's Department of HIV/AIDS. WHO is developing guidelines on HIV care for adolescents living with HIV. To do this we need information from several sources, including young people themselves. We hope each of you would be willing to post a link on your website or circulate a link to a survey we have developed to gain insight into the needs and opinions of young people, 10-24 years of age, living with HIV, regarding their health care.
